Universal Studios today, it was GREAT!

I have my 30th party on friday and I am hoping to God people show up. I just hired a black and white checked dance floor!

Every Tuesday is Girls Night here in LA. I host it at my place. I do a huge spread of food and we all get very drunk and talk about boys and things. I have a really fun crew here now, such a great bunch of girls. A total mix of all sorts of people, but Girls Night just works every time. I try to vary it up, and invite different people and introduce people. Can I suggest that you ALL make Tuesday night, Girls Night. Take turns in hosting it and just make it a routine get together. I wake up every Wednesday feeling really happy because it reminds me that I have great people in my life…

OH, it is my 30th on the 23rd January. I am having a big party here in LA. Not sure where yet (so badly organised) but I have invited about 50 people so need to get my arse in gear!

My dad and my sister arrive this Friday and I can’t wait!

Urgh, landed about three hours ago. Must keep myself awake for a few more hours. I couldnt think of anyhting to do that would keep me up, so I went and got a Brazillian wax done…WHY?? WHY??? WHY WHY WHY??

Basically, I have none! For the last four weeks I have been saying that I was staying in on New Years Eve. I was SO happy with my decision. Then Lucy (remember Lucy from Dawn Goes Lesbian? we are still very close and hang out whenever I am back.. She ROCKS!!) called saying she was also in Clapham. We arranged an early drink before she went on to a club. We met for a drink, I was wearing a brown jumper and gold UGG boots. Half an hour after our second Slippery Nipple (Sambuca and Baileys shooter!), and I was back at the house putting on some serious party clothes.

Suddenly we are on the tube, then soon after that we were waiting outside Popstarz on Tott Court Road. Lucy had arranged VIP access which was good. Free drinks and a few crisps and dips. We were necking this white chocolate vodka stuff…that might explain why my brain is to big for my head today??

I hate NYE, but I have to say that I really enjoyed last night. Maybe it was because I wasn’t expecting to. Popstarz is a gay bar, which was good because snogging someone at midnight was pretty much never going to happen, and that is the bit of NYE that I hate, not having anyone to snog when the bells start ringing.Knowing that it wasn’t an option anyway saved a lot of disappointment when the moment actually came. I think I just dry humped Lucy and then hugged a couple of randoms.

I left shortly after 12 and the tubes were mental, i didnt even try to get a cab as I am sure there wouldn’t have been any. I got home about 2…it was quite a journey!

So, just sitting up in bed now having just eaten an obsene amount of scrambled eggs and bacon. On the 5th cup of tea and feeling very pleased that I have no plans for about 3 days.

I considered taking a photo of me this morning, but then i looked in the mirror and realsied that I am quite revolting. Bob is not having a good day. He doesnt take to hangovers very well at all..

I have  few resolutions. One is to work really hard at having a really good relationship (hopefully with the current beau) and another is to go back to LA and take America by storm. I want 2009 to be about writing and get some really good stuff done. Any of you got anything you are going to really try at? if it is smoking then good luck. get rid of it because it is gross x
