Burnt hair, Thanksgiving, and a new beau!
November 26th, 2008
Oh my goodness, I am so sorry I haven’t written a blog for so long. I won’t file out a shed load of excuses, but I will say that it is due to a mixture of working on other things, being lazy, and being slightly distracted by the presence of a new man in my life. And no, this time, it isn’t, Bob!
However, Bob and I have had a few problems this week; namely me leaning over a candle at a party on Saturday night, and setting fire to him. I didn’t notice, but my friend, Polly started screaming and whacking me on the head. Before I knew it the smell of burning hair had filled the house, and I was pulling chunk after chuck of Bob’s full and bouncy body off my head. It was terrifying. But we survived it! God knows how…
Amazingly, Bobs big, thick body means that the catastrophe is kind of un-noticeable. This is a mystery, as I am telling you I felt like I was going bald at the time. So, you will be pleased to hear that Bob and I are still very much in love, and plan to be with each other for a while!
However, there is now a new man in my life, and this one most certainly is not just a hairstyle. I don’t want to say too much, or give anything away. I just thought I might sew the seed, and let you know that I have got my eye on a cracker!
But, that is enough about that for now. Sorry to tease…
Just to recap on the week just gone…my Polygamy, and my Geisha episodes aired here in the US, and did really well. I have had some great feedback, so I am very pleased about that. Thanks to all that contacted me about it. I loved getting your emails.
This Thursday is, Thanksgiving. I am finding all the hype about it quite odd, as it kind of feels Christmassy, but it isn’t Christmas. I am so excited, and will let you know how it goes. I know it isn’t really Christmas, but I have every intention of pulling my ‘cracker’…boom boom!
I will write up a full report at the weekend.
Until then, can I give thanks to you all for all your posts, emails and on going support.
Big love x
